Our Mission
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for those living with lichen sclerosus, a condition that is often underdiagnosed or diagnosed late.
For 25 years, we have been working to ensure that every patient can return to living without pain or discomfort, and without the psychological burden that often accompanies this diagnosis: embarrassment and the feeling of not being heard. All of our professional expertise is directed toward a single goal: to restore the well-being and peace of mind that this condition threatens to take away. And we do so with compassion.
A Multidisciplinary Team: many minds are better than one
The Lichen Hub scientific community was formed through the collaboration of professionals from various disciplines who have been passionately dedicated to lichen sclerosus for years. A 360-degree approach to patient care is the foundation of our treatment system.
For this reason, and to build a truly effective treatment plan, our team includes gynecologists, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, urologists, nutritionists, histologists, endocrinologists, pelvic floor rehabilitation specialists, obstetricians, biologists, and psychosexologists.
In addition, we rely on the support of patient groups and associations that assist with information and guidance throughout the treatment journey.
